That, on completion of the sale of 21 Heathfield Drive to Knaresborough Community Land Trust (KCLT) at market value and with appropriate legal safeguards, £100,000 Community Housing Fund (CHF) be allocated to KCLT towards the cost of acquisition and refurbishment.

Subject to legal safeguards and the allocation of the balance of the acquisition price by Karbon, the sum of £72,000 be allocated from the Community Housing Fund (CHF) to Peacock and Verity Community Spaces (P&VCS) as part funding of the purchase of 15 Silver Street, Masham for Community Led Housing (CLH).

Approval was given to recommend to all members of the Development Partnership that, in light of affordability concerns:

 

They incorporate the provisions of paragraph 5.11 of the report at annual rent review for all existing s106 shared ownership homes matched via the Development Partnership and the provisions of paragraph 5.11 in respect of base rent for all new homes matched via the Development Partnership from 1 October 2022.
