03/22 – MINUTES: The Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 10 May 2022 were submitted. It was noted that a correction was required to reference a declaration of interest made by Councillor Tom Watson with regards to Minute 101/21(05). 3 The development must not be brought into use until the access to the site has been set out and constructed in accordance with the Specification for Housing and Industrial Estate Roads and Private Street Works" published by the Local Highway Authority and the following requirements unless otherwise approved in writing by the Local Highway Authority. The crossing of the highway verge and footway must be constructed in accordance with the approved details to Standard Detail number E7, be a minimum of 5.5 metres in width, and provide the footway link to the existing footpath as shown on the approved drawing P18017-001E.
- Any gates or barriers must be erected a minimum distance of 4.8 metres back from the carriageway of the existing highway and must not be able to swing over the existing or proposed highway.
- Provision to prevent surface water from the site/plot discharging onto the existing or proposed highway must be constructed in accordance with the approved details shown on drawing Standard Detail E7 and maintained thereafter to prevent such discharges.
- The final surfacing of any private access within 6 metres of the public highway must not contain any loose material that is capable of being drawn on to the existing or proposed public highway.
- The existing footway crossing point on Wetherby Road must be upgraded to include tactile crossing guidance, and where the new proposed footpath link joins the existing footpath network, the footway width must be widened to 2 metres.
- Measures to enable vehicles to enter and leave the site in a forward gear.
All works must accord with the approved details.
