PROPOSAL:

Proposed demolition and site clearance, creation of new parking facilities, increased capacity for on-site parking of waste vehicle HGV's, provision for 10 no. EV charging points. New welfare facilities to replace dilapidated brick-built facilities.

 

APPLICANT:             Harrogate Borough Council

 

APPROVED subject to the following conditions:-

 

1       The development hereby permitted shall be begun on or before 21.04.2025.

 

2       The development shall be carried out in accordance with the submitted details and the following approved plans:

3       Prior to any alteration works on site, drawings and calculations showing  proposed surface water drainage strategy shall be submitted to, and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority in consultation with  Yorkshire Water. Thereafter the development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.

 

4       Any new fences or gates shall match those existing on site.

 

5       Prior to their installation, full detail and technical specifications of the proposed electric vehicle charging points shall be submitted to and approved in writing with the local planning authority. Thereafter they shall be installed in accordance with the approved details.

 

Reasons for Conditions:-

 

1       To ensure compliance with Sections 91-94 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

2       For the avoidance of doubt and in the interests of proper planning and development.

3       To ensure the site is properly drained for the lifetime of the development.

4       In the interests of visual amenity.

5       To ensure they comply with the latest HBC policy and guidance.
