RESOLVED:

 

That, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, the meeting be not open to the public during the discussion of Minute 35/21 as there will be a disclosure of exempt information as defined in Section 100I of the Act.

 

The exempt information in question relates to individuals, financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) and information relating to any consultations or negotiations or contemplated consultations or negotiations, in connection with any labour relations matter arising between the authority or a Minister of the Crown and employees of, or office holders under, the authority as defined in paragraphs 1 and 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

MATTERS DEALT WITH UNDER DELEGATED POWERS

 

35/21 – UNISON FORMAL DISPUTE: WORKING FROM HOME, MILEAGE AND ANNUAL LEAVE CARRY FORWARD: The Committee considered a dispute raised by Unison in relation to the Councils policies on working from home, mileage allowances and Annual Leave Carry Forward.  The Committee heard representations from Unison, represented by David Houlgate, and on behalf of the authority represented by Rachel Joyce, Director of Corporate Affairs.  Written submissions had also been circulated to Members prior to the meeting.

 

RESOLVED (UNANIMOUSLY):

 

That the dispute be determined as detailed in the Unpublished Minute.
